Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between luke cummo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Naler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naler misses with a head kick.
Naler throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around cummo's waist but cummo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Naler off to one side.

Naler tries to keep at a distance but cummo has taken the fight into the clinch.
cummo is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

cummo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
cummo moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
cummo wants to clinch up but Naler keeps it at a distance.

Naler closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Naler throws a strike aimed at the side of cummo's head but cummo avoids it well.
cummo gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

cummo is looking for a sweep. Naler is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Naler lands a nice short elbow.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Naler connects with a nice short shot to cummo's temple.
Naler wants to stand but cummo has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

It looks like luke cummo has been cut.
Naler shoots for a takedown but cummo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

cummo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Naler can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Naler gets to his feet. cummo looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

cummo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Naler moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Naler had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. cummo is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Naler Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take cummo's back instead.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Naler is trying to stick to cummo's back but cummo is turning into Naler. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Naler's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by cummo.

cummo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Naler as he jumps to the side.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

cummo working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

cummo wants to control from the top but Naler keeps moving.
Naler thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, cummo cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Naler is trying desperately to improve position.
Naler is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
BOOM! cummo connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Naler might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control cummo kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Naler is pressing down on cummo's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Naler has his foot on cummo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. cummo works his way back into a safe position though.
