Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Llavicrep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Samuel Adams has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Samuel Adams seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Llavicrep as Adams shoots in.
Adams fails with the takedown.
Llavicrep wants to counter with a clinch but Adams pushes him away.
Adams blocks a head kick by Llavicrep.
Adams goes for a double leg but Llavicrep avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Llavicrep continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Samuel Adams. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Llavicrep lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

It looks like Samuel Adams has been cut.
Adams shoots for a takedown but Llavicrep saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Llavicrep has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Adams changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Llavicrep fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Llavicrep manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Adams manages to get himself to full guard.

Adams has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Llavicrep is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Adams.
Llavicrep takes a little break here. Adams wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Adams tries to buck Llavicrep off but Llavicrep is having none of it.

You can see the frustration on Adams's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Llavicrep works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Adams has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Adams takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Llavicrep gets to mount! Adams was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Llavicrep postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Adams looks a forlorn figure.
