Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mathew Moody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saint Faustina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saint Faustina is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Saint Faustina!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faustina misses with a double jab
and Moody counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Faustina wants to clinch but Moody slips to the side
and Moody counters with a nice body shot.
Faustina has a takedown stuffed.
Moody appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Moody clinches.
Moody scores a nice knee to the body.

Moody tightens his grip and picks Faustina up, before dumping him to the ground. Faustina manages to land in guard.
Moody passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Faustina seems a little lost for a moment, as Moody dominates the positioning.
Faustina looks winded!
Faustina really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moody. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Moody is working to tighten his grip on Faustina's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Faustina has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Moody is really squeezing tight and eventually Faustina passes out! Moody breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
