Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aleixo Gene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Stanislav (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stanislav misses with a jab, cross combination.

Stanislav pushes Gene up against the ropes in a clinch.

Stanislav breaks from the clinch.
Stanislav lands a nice hook to Gene's body. Gene takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Stanislav lands a nice shot to the body.
Gene on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Stanislav. Stanislav obviously looking to wear him down.
A solid leg kick lands there for Stanislav.
Gene looks to land a body kick but Stanislav moved away.
Some bone on bone action there as Stanislav checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Stanislav let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Stanislav uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Gene.
Stanislav rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gene moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Stanislav slips under a jab.
Stanislav cracks Gene with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gene throws a lazy right hand but Stanislav sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Stanislav is looking for the big counter here.
A decent looking cross lands there for Gene.

It looks like Adam Stanislav has been cut.
Stanislav lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Gene backs up against the ropes.
Gene on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Stanislav. Stanislav obviously looking to wear him down.
Gene throws a hook but Stanislav blocks it.
Stanislav throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

A left and a right from Stanislav both land. Nice combination.
Gene misses with a body shot.
Gene lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stanislav circles away quickly and effectively.
Stanislav misses with a few strikes there.
Gene appears to be looking for a big counter.
Gene takes one on the button.
Gene is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Stanislav lands a left and a right that send Gene crashing to the mat, dazed. Stanislav thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Gene is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Stanislav lands with a thumping leg kick.
Stanislav stalks Gene and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gene's face. Gene staggers backwards, shaken.
Oh Gene is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Stanislav closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Stanislav stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Gene seems to have got his legs back now.
Gene misses with a punch on the inside.
Stanislav lands with a light punch inside.

Stanislav breaks the clinch.
Gene connects with a high kick.
A head kick misses from Stanislav.
Gene feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Stanislav goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Gene misses with a straight right.
Gene misses with a low kick.
Adam Stanislav seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gene slips a jab and a cross from Stanislav.
Gene misses with an uppercut.

Oooooh!!! Stanislav has knocked Gene down with a huge combo! Stanislav steps away and waves a wobbly Gene back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
A punch combination from Stanislav misses.
Stanislav is working the combinations to good effect here.
Stanislav throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Gene's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Stanislav dives in looking to finish as Gene flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Stanislav's strikes! Stanislav is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Gene's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Gene was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
