Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dr Gonzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Tischler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jan Tischler!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tischler fails in his attempt to clinch.
Tischler throws a hook to the side of Gonzo's head but Gonzo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gonzo listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Gonzo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gonzo lands with a straight right. Tischler didn't see that one coming.
Tischler throws a nice outside leg kick.
Gonzo takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Tischler closes the distance and pushes Gonzo back into the cage.
Tischler tries to throw a body punch but Gonzo avoids it by throwing Tischler back against the cage.
Gonzo blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Gonzo misses with a hook to the ribs.

Gonzo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gonzo misses with an uppercut.
Tischler looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Tischler swings away with a body shot that misses
and Gonzo makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Tischler really felt that one!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gonzo slips a jab from Tischler.
A little feinted left hand from Gonzo on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Tischler misses with the combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A head kick from Gonzo lands but Tischler takes it in his stride.
A slapping leg kick lands for Tischler.
Tischler misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
An attempted straight right counter from Gonzo misses the target.
Tischler fails with an attempt to clinch.
Gonzo just misses with a punch to the body.
Tischler is looking to clinch.
Gonzo lands a nice leg kick that just misses Tischler's sensitive parts.
Gonzo slaps away a takedown attempt from Tischler, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Tischler misses with a hook. Gonzo ducked under it nicely.
The crowd cheers as Tischler lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gonzo doesn't seem phased though.
Tischler is looking to clinch.
Gonzo throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Tischler is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gonzo throws a powerful right kick. Tischler tried to block low but the kick was high! Tischler was taken right off of his feet! Gonzo jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Dr Gonzo!
After winning the bout, Dr Gonzo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
