Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mitel King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Thomas Fighter!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Daniel Franklin and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King fails with the takedown
enabling Fighter to counter with a crisp jab.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Fighter.
King avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Fighter.
Fighter trying to control the action but King is working from the bottom.
Fighter tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fighter postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

That's one minute gone in the round.
King gets back to half guard.
Fighter trying to control the action but King is working from the bottom.
Fighter is figuring out what he wants to do next.
King trying to control from the bottom.
Fighter trying to control from half guard but King is working away.
Fighter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with King. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
King is looking to improve his position.
King trying to hold on to Fighter's head to control him but Fighter postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Fighter prevents King from improving his position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Fighter closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Fighter is looking for a kimura here.
Fighter is thwarting King's attempts to control the position.
King might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
King wants to control the action here but instead Fighter manages to pass to full mount!
King is in all sorts of trouble here.
Fighter throws some wild stikes that King manages to avoid easily.
Fighter prevents King from getting the reversal.
Fighter sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
King really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
King manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Fighter seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

King moves into full guard.

King is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Fighter rolls with it to try and escape but King cranks on the arm and Fighter is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
