Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Saint Faustina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saint Faustina could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Thiago Silva's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Saint Faustina!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thiago Silva!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Thiago Cunha and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faustina tries to clinch up
and Silva counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Saint Faustina has been cut.
Faustina tries to keep at a distance but Silva has taken the fight into the clinch.
Silva breaks the clinch.
Silva fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Silva clinches up with Faustina and pushes him back against the cage.
Silva lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Silva has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Faustina uses from the top position.
Silva has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Faustina is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Faustina wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Silva has him pressed against the cage.
Silva breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Faustina fails with the takedown
and Silva moves into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Silva closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Silva remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Silva has an Americana. Faustina didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Silva is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Silva hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
