The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laurent dodges the punch combination from Vershinin .
Vershinin throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Laurent takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vershinin lands a nice hook to Laurent 's body. Laurent takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Vershinin ! Laurent is out on his feet! Vershinin rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Laurent is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Laurent is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
