Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Lamb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen Fort Minor - Remember The Name as his entrance music. John Jones is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frank Lamb!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Jones!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lamb sets himself, and Jones steps forward looking for the clinch! Lamb avoids it this time.
Jones connects with a nice looking jab.
Jones takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Jones lands a left and a right that send Lamb crashing to the mat, dazed. Jones thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


It looks like Frank Lamb has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jones darts in and out, connecting with a jab.


Lamb is rocked!

Lamb gets a clinch.
Jones tries a knee to the head but Lamb blocks it.
Jones is looking to control Lamb's arms but Lamb gets an underhook and turns him. Now Jones has his back to the ropes.
Lamb definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Jones throws a knee to the head but misses.
Lamb blocks the elbow strike.

Lamb turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Lamb manages to end up in side control.
Jones sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Lamb seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jones does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Jones is looking to improve his position.

Jones felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Lamb is keen to just control but Jones is a slippery customer.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lamb cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Lamb not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
John Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Lamb walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Jones checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lamb manages to avoid it.
Lamb drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Lamb shoots in but no luck this time.
Jones fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Jones lands with a straight right. Lamb didn't see that one coming.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lamb in particular looking to stall.
The fighters are battling for position here. Jones manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

I would just about give that final round to John Jones.
I think Jones has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
