Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roosevelt Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samuel Class (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Samuel Class has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roosevelt Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Samuel Class!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Class has managed to clinch.
Miller goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Miller breaks from the clinch.
Class throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Miller counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Miller engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Miller trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Class had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Miller defends it easily.
Miller is stalling in the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Miller working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Class's head.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Miller is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Class is defending well for now.

Miller's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Class throws a combination that misses

and Miller counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Miller lands a nice short elbow.
Miller seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Miller looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Miller tries to keep at a distance but Class has taken the fight into the clinch.
Miller lands a body punch in the clinch.

Miller pulls guard.

Miller looking for a sweep. Not yet Miller, not yet.
Miller lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Miller stays in close to Class's body and controls the position.
Miller stands and throws Class's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Class seems a little lost for a moment, as Miller dominates the positioning.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Class keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.


It looks like Roosevelt Miller has been cut.
Class connects with a good right hand that stumbles Miller. Miller circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Class throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Miller darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Miller in particular looking to stall.
Class wants to get back to his feet.

Miller shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Class's guard.

Miller not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Class wants to sweep but no luck.
Miller is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Class can do to turn this around?

Roosevelt Miller overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Miller escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Class rushes Miller and presses him up against the cage.
Class is trying to break the clinch but Miller is controlling him.

Miller pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Class closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Miller quickly recovers to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Miller is looking to improve his position.
Class sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Miller defending well though.

Miller regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Class.

Miller looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Class passes into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Class prevents Miller from escaping the position.
Miller manages to work his way to half guard, despite Class's best efforts.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Miller looks like he's trying to stand up.

Miller manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Class keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Roosevelt Miller will probably get the nod.

That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Class fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Miller.

Class darts in and clinches Miller up against the cage.
Class on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Miller tries to work over Class's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Miller ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Miller no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Miller wants to sweep here but Class controlling him for the moment.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Miller manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Class wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Miller is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Class will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Class on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Miller remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Class pushes Miller away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Miller gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Miller is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Class's shoulder. That is not cool.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Samuel Class seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Miller throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Class tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Miller is in Class's guard.

Class throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Miller slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Class is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Class takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Class wants to sweep here but Miller controlling him for the moment.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Class is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A head punch on the inside from Class fails to land.

Roosevelt Miller showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Miller, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
