The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomez looks for a takedown but Robinson sprawls well.
Robinson lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
A combination from Gomez does no damage.
It seemed like Robinson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Robinson fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Gomez fails with the takedown.
Gomez scores with a crisp jab that stopped Robinson in his tracks.
Gomez takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Robinson smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Robinson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Gomez's head.

Robinson cracks Gomez with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Gomez looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Robinson finish him?

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Robinson throws an overhand right that drops Gomez like a sack of potatoes! Robinson dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
