Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fabricio Pretum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Heart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pretum comes to the cage accompanied by Quiribamba. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Alexandre Firmino and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heart closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pretum to the mat! Pretum manages to get full guard.
Pretum throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Pretum has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Heart can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Heart with a flurry of punches that miss.
Heart has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Heart changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pretum looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Heart tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pretum swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Pretum jumps guard but Heart stands there with Pretum around his waist. Pretum gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Heart breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Heart is trying to control but can't.
Heart regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Pretum.

Pretum throws and elbow that misses. Heart uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Pretum's guard. Nice move by Heart!

Heart is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there.
Pretum has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Heart is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Pretum.
Pretum wants to get back to his feet but Heart is dominant here and he's now got Pretum's back!
