The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Meyers shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Jae Sung wants to improve his position but Meyers is controlling well.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Meyers.
Jae Sung fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Meyers has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The fight stays on the outside here - Meyers looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Jae Sung feints and then cracks Meyers's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Meyers down.

Jae Sung has Meyers pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Jae Sung pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Meyers tumbling to the mat - Jae Sung dives into Meyers's guard.

Jae Sung working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Meyers doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Meyers manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
