Oppelaar falls off balance throwing a combination
and Martel makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Martel avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Oppelaar throws out a loose jab but Martel uses good head movement to avoid it.
Martel scores with the left hand. Oppelaar knows he should have avoided that one.
Oppelaar throws a right and a left that both miss.
Oppelaar fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A head kick from Martel lands but Oppelaar takes it in his stride.

Martel was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Martel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Oppelaar looks to throw a body kick
and Martel counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Martel dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Oppelaar. Martel does a little dance to reset his feet.
Martel scores with a spinning back kick!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Martel lands with a hook. Oppelaar tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Oppelaar will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Martel lands a nice leg kick that just misses Oppelaar's sensitive parts.

BOOM! Martel lands a beautiful left hook that drops Oppelaar. Oppelaar tries to recover but Martel is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Oppelaar lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
