Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Glen Danzig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saul Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danzig's entrance music is The Misfits- Night of the Living Dead. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia moves to clinch but Danzig breaks away
and Danzig counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Left hook, right uppercut from Danzig.
Garcia shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Danzig defends it nicely.
Garcia throws the left hand but Danzig avoids the punch easily.
A combination from Garcia does no damage.
As Garcia looks to move away, Danzig throws a big counter combo bu Garcia just gets out of the way.
Danzig on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Garcia. Garcia obviously looking to wear him down.
Danzig slaps away a takedown attempt from Garcia, before circling back to the center of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Garcia tries for a takedown but Danzig circles away easily
and Danzig counters with a stiff right hand.
Glen Danzig has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Saul Garcia.
Danzig moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Garcia drops his hands momentarily and Danzig takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Danzig bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Garcia fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Danzig manages to avoid it.
Danzig lands with a good body shot.
Danzig scores with a nice strike.
Garcia takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Garcia dives in and grabs Danzig's left leg, looking for a takedown. Danzig pushes down on Garcia's head and hops out.
Garcia tries to clinch but Danzig moves away
and Danzig counters with a straight right hand.
Danzig walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Garcia drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Danzig swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Garcia's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Glen Danzig!
Glen Danzig bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
