Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Klas Micropop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Razor Maya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Micropop comes to the cage accompanied by Killer Instinct. Klas Micropop could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Razor Maya's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Razor Maya!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maya swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Micropop counters with a low kick, right behind Maya 's knee.
A punch combination from Micropop misses.
Maya uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Micropop.
Maya tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Micropop wants to clinch.
A punch lands to the side of Micropop 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Micropop misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Maya.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maya closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
It looks like Razor Maya has been cut.
Klas Micropop seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maya closes the distance and clinches up with Micropop, looking for a takedown. Maya pushes Micropop against the cage but Micropop circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Maya scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Klas Micropop has been cut.

Micropop swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Micropop fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Maya scores with a spinning back kick!
Micropop throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Klas Micropop is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Micropop misses with a two punch combination.
Micropop connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Maya momentarily.
Micropop throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Maya throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Micropop.
Micropop tries to clinch but Maya moves out of range.
Maya tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Micropop defends well and Maya ends up having to push Micropop into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Micropop was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Micropop moves forwards but Maya connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Micropop has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Micropop misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Maya avoids the body shot from Micropop.
Micropop throws a shot from downtown. Maya moves away and avoids it.

Micropop throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Maya throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Maya looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Maya is working for a submission of some sort.
Micropop is trying to stand back up but Maya is controlling him

Micropop wants to improve his position but Maya is controlling well.

Maya moves into full mount! Micropop won't be happy about that!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Micropop wants to hold on but Maya pushes him away.
Maya swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Micropop is now in Maya's guard. A big mistake from Maya there, giving up the dominant position!

Micropop distracts Maya with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Maya is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Micropop wants to stand but Maya is controlling his posture from full guard.
Maya looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Maya is looking for a triangle but Micropop pushes his legs off easily.
Micropop connects with a couple of short punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Klas Micropop will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Maya looks to throw the jab but Micropop is out of range.
Maya looks to land a body kick but Micropop moved away.
Micropop scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Maya scoring well with a low kick there.
Micropop moves into the clinch.
Maya is trying to force a seperation but Micropop has the dominant position.
Micropop is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Maya lands with a short punch from the clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Micropop.
Micropop wants to stall.
Maya wants the takedown. Micropop is fighting it off but Maya persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Micropop's guard against the cage.
Micropop is looking to stand up but Maya isn't so interested in that idea.
Micropop might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Micropop is trying to control the position but Maya postures up.
Micropop wants to sweep but no luck.
Maya pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Micropop is keeping the position for now.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Micropop takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Maya throws a low kick but it's checked well by Micropop.

Klas Micropop's cut is getting worse.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Maya.
Maya throwing strikes but Micropop manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Maya is trying to maintain the position but Micropop is very close to passing his half guard.

Micropop throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Maya tries to get to full guard but Micropop has control of the leg.
Maya has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Micropop is working away from the top position though.
Micropop working over Maya with some ground and pound. Maya looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Micropop pushes down on Maya's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Micropop scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Micropop takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Micropop looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Maya is rocked!
Micropop lands a big elbow - Maya is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Micropop!

Klas Micropop was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
