The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murillo leaves Senna with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Murillo throws a quick counter kick to the body but Senna avoids it.

Senna shoots in looking for a takedown but Murillo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Senna's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Senna controls Murillo momentarily but Murillo frees himself.

Senna escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Murillo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Senna bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Senna uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Murillo.
Horrible takedown attempt by Senna or perhaps it was just good defense by Murillo, which made it look bad.
Murillo looks to land a left hand but Senna moved out of range nicely.

Murillo is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Senna can do to turn this around?
Senna throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Senna bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Murillo lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Senna has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Senna and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Senna is defended easily by Murillo.
