PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Torello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moore comes to the cage accompanied by Frank Klepacki - March to doom. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Torello looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Moore looking to hit a scissor sweep but Torello is one step ahead there.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Torello.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Torello. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Torello motions for Moore to come forward. Torello throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Torello throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Moore takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

We've been told by Moore's head coaches at The Stray Dogs that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Torello is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Moore defends well.

Torello had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Moore defends it easily.
Torello has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Moore accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
