Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joaquin Fortunado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alucard Darkim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fortunado's entrance music is Stairway to Heaven. A fine choice. Darkim is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I'm new in da city. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darkim slips a jab and a cross from Fortunado.
Darkim throws a leg kick but Fortunado sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Fortunado moves out of range as Darkim strikes.
Alucard Darkim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Darkim has a takedown stuffed.

Fortunado is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Darkim to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Darkim shrugs it off.

Fortunado misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Darkim is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Fortunado takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.

Darkim is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Joaquin Fortunado.
Well Fortunado has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
