Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Coy Parsons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Weber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Weber has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Coy Parsons!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Weber!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Alyssa Summers and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weber doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Parsons counters with a three punch combo that has Weber backing up. Weber nods at Parsons to acknowledge the strikes.
Weber lands a slapping body shot.
Weber shoots in looking for a takedown. Parsons tries to sprawl out of it but Weber keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Parsons manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Parsons moves into the clinch.
Coy Parsons has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Weber.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Parsons pulls Weber into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Weber decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Parsons, up you get!

Weber drives through and clinches with Parsons against the cage.

Parsons is trying to trip Weber. He has hold of a leg but Weber is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Parsons persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Weber manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Weber is looking to break free of the clinch but Parsons has double underhooks.
Parsons has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Weber avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Weber pulls Parsons into guard.

Weber looking for subs off his back but Parsons has passed one foot through into half guard.
Weber has a hand on Parsons's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Parsons takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Weber tries to hold on but Parsons pushes him away.

Parsons swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Weber is now in Parsons's guard. A big mistake from Parsons there, giving up the dominant position!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Weber looking to sit in guard and control but Parsons gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Weber pulls Parsons in close to prevent any damage.

Weber is looking for a triangle but Parsons pushes his legs off easily.

Weber wants to get back to his feet but Parsons is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Weber looking to hit a scissor sweep but Parsons is one step ahead there.
Parsons has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Weber is proving hard to escape from.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Weber has Parsons pulled in close to control his posture.
Weber is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.


Weber is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Weber wants to lay and pray for a moment but Parsons keeps working.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Parsons is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Coy Parsons will probably get the nod.

Weber with a lazy takedown attempt

and Parsons moves into the clinch.
Parsons goes for a takedown attempt but Weber pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Weber throws a head kick but Parsons moves out of range.
Parsons changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Parsons stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Parsons wants it to stay on the feet.
Parsons was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Weber cracks Parsons with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Weber gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Parsons has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Parsons tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Weber just stands there and leans against the cage.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Weber pulls guard effortlessly.
Weber manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Parsons manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Weber drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Parsons dives on top into guard.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Parsons tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Jack Weber will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Weber changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Parsons tries to avoid it but Weber manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Parsons to the ground. Parsons escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
