Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nonito Medeiros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drazen Zecic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Vladimir Khabensky and Valeri Chadov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zecic takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

It looks like Drazen Zecic has been cut.
Medeiros misses the body punch
and Zecic counters with a nice body shot.
Medeiros throws a body punch but Zecic moves out of range.
Nonito Medeiros seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Medeiros misses with a left hand
and Zecic counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Medeiros avoids the body shot from Zecic.
Medeiros fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Zecic manages to avoid it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Zecic! But no joy.
Zecic shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Medeiros loads up on a big right hand but Zecic slips the punch.
As Medeiros backs off Zecic throws a huge counter combo but Medeiros manages to avoid it all.
Zecic walks into a straight right hand from Medeiros.
Zecic throws a nice looking combination but Medeiros bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A looping hook to the body misses from Medeiros. Zecic does a little dance to reset his feet.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Zecic! But no joy.

Medeiros sends Zecic crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Medeiros is motioning to the referee to let Zecic up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Zecic gets tackled into the cage by Medeiros. Medeiros maintains the clinch.
Zecic is trying to force a seperation but Medeiros has the dominant position.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Medeiros.

With the fighters up against the cage, Medeiros throws an elbow but misses.
Zecic wants to break free but Medeiros has control.
Zecic is trying to break the clinch but Medeiros is controlling him.
Medeiros tries to work over Zecic's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Medeiros creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Medeiros lands an elbow that stopped Zecic in his tracks for a moment.
Zecic can't break the clinch.
Medeiros can't find room to land a body shot as Zecic controls the action.
Zecic wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Medeiros lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Medeiros keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Zecic's efforts to push away.
Zecic is trying to force a seperation but Medeiros has the dominant position.

Medeiros escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Medeiros throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Medeiros lands a damaging elbow.

That has opened up Drazen Zecic's cut even more.
Medeiros cracks Zecic with a nice body shot.
Zecic looks winded!
Medeiros lands a right hand that snaps the head of Zecic backwards.
Medeiros lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Zecic or not.
Medeiros avoiding damage.
Medeiros lands a body punch in the clinch.
Medeiros pushes off an throws an elbow but Zecic leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Medeiros lands an uppercut.

Medeiros manages to break the clinch.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Medeiros engages and cracks Zecic with a massive lead left hook - Zecic tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Medeiros is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
