The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Louis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Saint-Perrilloux moves away.
Louis smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
It looks like Jacques Saint-Perrilloux has been cut.
Louis takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

letting Louis counter with a right hand.
Saint-Perrilloux lands a nice leg kick that just misses Louis's sensitive parts.
Louis throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

We've been informed that Louis has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
