Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kyell Gold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Perry Charcobeau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Charcobeau is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Fortunate Son. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charcobeau takes one to the side of the head.
Gold lands a glancing blow to the side of Charcobeau's head.
Kyell Gold seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Charcobeau is looking to slow Gold down with leg kicks.
Gold avoids a kick to the body.
Charcobeau throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gold tries to bum rush Charcobeau with a series of wild strikes but Charcobeau uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Gold dives in and grabs Charcobeau's left leg, looking for a takedown. Charcobeau pushes down on Gold's head and hops out.
Gold clobbers Charcobeau with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Charcobeau throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A little feinted left hand from Gold on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Gold manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Charcobeau on his heels. He'll look to pass Charcobeau's guard now, I'm sure.

Gold wants to control from the top but Charcobeau keeps moving.
Charcobeau controls Gold momentarily but Gold frees himself.

Gold throws a strike but Charcobeau rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Charcobeau stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gold swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gold has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Charcobeau pushes down on Gold's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Charcobeau is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Charcobeau might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Gold haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Charcobeau takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Oh Gold is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Whack! Charcobeau lands a heavy head kick that drops Gold. The ref tackles Charcobeau to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Gold was done.
