Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aleixo Gene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neftali De La Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gene is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by De La Cruz.
De La Cruz takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
De La Cruz connects with a crisp jab.
Gene bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
De La Cruz has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Gene finds it's way round the side to connect with De La Cruz's head.

It looks like Neftali De La Cruz has been cut.
Gene misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from De La Cruz.
Gene looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gene avoids the body shot from De La Cruz.

Gene gets tackled into the ropes by De La Cruz. De La Cruz maintains the clinch.
Gene keeps control of De La Cruz as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Gene dips a shoulder and cracks De La Cruz with a mighty uppercut! De La Cruz falls back against the ropes and Gene unloads with a barrage of strikes! De La Cruz is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the ropes! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Gene screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
