The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dahl pushes Stone up against the cage in a clinch.
Dahl tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Stone smiles and moves away.

Stone takes the fight into the clinch.
Dahl is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Stone to keep the fight standing.
Dahl misses with a hook to the ribs.
Dahl swings wildly with an uppercut but Stone uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dahl lands with a left to the head.
Dahl misses with a hook from the clinch.
Dahl jumps guard but Stone turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gabriel Dahl. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dahl tries to pull guard but Stone won't allow it.
Dahl swings wildly with an uppercut but Stone uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dahl tries to pull guard but Stone forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Stone.
Stone blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Dahl tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Dahl tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Stone just stands there and leans against the cage.
Dahl doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Stone gets through Dahl's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Stone blocks a body shot from Dahl.
Stone lands a hook to the side of the head.
Dahl lands with a light punch inside.
Dahl lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Stone misses with a hook to the ribs.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Stone.
Dahl tries a body shot but Stone blocks it.
Dahl is trying to pull guard but Stone turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Stone is looking to control Dahl's arms but Dahl gets an underhook and turns him. Now Stone has his back to the cage.
Dahl tries to pull guard but Stone won't allow it.
Dahl misses with a punch on the inside.
Stone blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A right hook to the body lands for Stone.
Dahl misses with the head strike.
Stone just leaning against Dahl, taking a breather.
Dahl lands a right hand that snaps the head of Stone backwards.
Dahl goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Stone digs a right hand into Dahl's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Dahl's gas tank.
Dahl is breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dahl gets control of Stone's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dahl will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Stone has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dahl is proving hard to escape from.
Stone trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Stone is sitting in close to Dahl's body. Dahl has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Stone is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Stone is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Dahl.
