Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hos Gon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seen Kyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Hos Gon has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Hos Gon seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hos Gon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Seen Kyle!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kyle.
Kyle fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Gon changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Gon gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Gon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Horrible takedown attempt by Kyle or perhaps it was just good defense by Gon, which made it look bad.
Hos Gon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Seen Kyle.
Kyle looks for a takedown but Gon sprawls well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Kyle counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gon won't be happy with that.
Kyle is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gon knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Kyle wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gon, who protects the arm well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kyle working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Kyle is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gon knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Kyle tries to advance to mount but Gon denies him.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Kyle is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gon is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Kyle is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gon has escaped the position, nice work there.
Kyle thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Kyle should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Kyle is looking to take a break and control but Gon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Kyle goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Gon rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Kyle's guard! Nice work there by Gon!
Kyle looking for a guillotine here but Gon defends easily.
Kyle seems keen to control Gon's posture.
Gon trying to control but Kyle is working from the bottom.
Kyle is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Gon is refusing to be controlled, as Kyle sits in half guard.
Kyle seems to be looking for submissions.
Kyle trying to mount his opponent but Gon defends it.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kyle seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gon does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Seen Kyle dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Kyle fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Gon has been working on his balance at Cozad The Island, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Kyle.
Kyle shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gon pinned against the cage. Gon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kyle shoots in but no luck this time.
Hos Gon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Seen Kyle.
Gon looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kyle is fending him off so far but Gon persists. Nope, Kyle circles away and we're back to standing.

Gon tries a head kick but it misses.
Gon throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Kyle tries to pull guard but Gon holds him up against the cage and eventually Kyle drops back down to his feet.
Gon gets underhooks to prevent Kyle's takedown attempt.
Kyle is fighting off a takedown attempt but Gon is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Kyle to the mat. Kyle regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Kyle is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gon is aware though and is defending well.

Kyle pushes a forearm under Gon's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Gon is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Seen Kyle!
Our winner, Seen Kyle, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
