Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Burl Hobbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dovydas Marozas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Burl Hobbs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dovydas Marozas!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Paul Tew and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marozas closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Marozas tries to pull guard but Hobbs won't allow it.
Hobbs really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Marozas is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hobbs is defending well for now.

Marozas manages to break the clinch.
A jab lands there for Marozas.
Marozas shoots in for a takedown but Hobbs shows good takedown defense.
Hobbs attempts a counter takedown but Marozas avoids it well and moves away.
Dovydas Marozas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marozas is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hobbs sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Marozas lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Hobbs backwards.
Hobbs gets underhooks to prevent Marozas's takedown attempt.
Hobbs jumps guard but Marozas stands there with Hobbs around his waist. Hobbs gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Marozas changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hobbs fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Hobbs swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hobbs takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Marozas shoots in and drives through. Hobbs sprawls well.
Marozas looks winded!
Marozas fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hobbs avoids it really well and circles away.
Hobbs throws a solid leg kick but Marozas takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Hobbs.
Marozas looks to land a body kick but Hobbs moved away.
Marozas shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hobbs but Hobbs pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Hobbs wants to clinch up but Marozas keeps it at a distance.
Marozas dives in for a single leg takedown but Hobbs sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Hobbs throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Marozas.

Marozas takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

That was a close round but I would say that Burl Hobbs will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Hobbs ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hobbs no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Marozas drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Hobbs defends it well.

Marozas jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hobbs walks away with a smile on his face. Marozas gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Hobbs avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Burl Hobbs is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hobbs, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
