Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Silva Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Htiko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva Jr's entrance music is 2pac- Another Motherfucker Drops. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva Jr swinging wildly here.
Silva Jr scores with a hook to the body. Htiko takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Htiko tries to clinch but Silva Jr is having none of it.
Silva Jr seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Silva Jr takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Silva Jr fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Htiko shoots in for a takedown but Silva Jr shows good takedown defense.
Silva Jr swings for the body but Htiko moves out of range.
Htiko tries to counter by closing the distance.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Silva Jr creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Silva Jr manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Silva Jr pushes Htiko off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Silva Jr leaves Htiko with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Silva Jr stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Silva Jr wants it to stay on the feet.

Silva Jr throws a head kick but Htiko moves out of range.
Silva Jr shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Htiko eats them both and turns towards Silva Jr to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
The fight stays on the outside here - Htiko looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Htiko tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Htiko shoots for a takedown but Silva Jr saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Htiko shoots in but Silva Jr avoids the takedown attempt easily.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Htiko.

Htiko is breathing heavily.
Htiko throws a half hearted mid kick.
Silva Jr throws a leg kick but Htiko moved away.
Lucas Silva Jr is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Htiko is looking to clinch but Silva Jr is avoiding it.

Silva Jr throws a right and a left that Htiko avoids nicely.

Htiko tries a knee to the head but Silva Jr blocks it.
Htiko tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Silva Jr smiles and moves away.

Silva Jr closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Htiko takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Htiko throws a leg kick that is checked
enabling Silva Jr to counter with a crisp jab.
Htiko is rocked!
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Silva Jr moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Htiko! Silva Jr continues to tee off on Htiko, landing with a left and a right! Silva Jr connects with a right hand that leaves Htiko sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Silva Jr!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Lucas Silva Jr!
After the fight, Lucas Silva Jr was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
