The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Agyekum blocks a head kick by Guy.
Guy lands a nice looking body kick.
Some bone on bone action there as Agyekum checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Nice takedown defense from Guy. No joy for Agyekum on that attempt.
A head kick misses from Guy.

Agyekum on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Guy uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Agyekum has time to react.
Agyekum takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Agyekum wants to counter with a clinch but Guy pushes him away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Guy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Guy looks to score with a jab to the body but Agyekum is just out of range.
Agyekum drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Guy defends it well.

Guy fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Guy is looking to wear down Agyekum with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Guy throws a jab but it's blocked by Agyekum.
Guy stuns Agyekum with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Agyekum moves into the clinch successfully.
Guy jumps guard but Agyekum stands there with Guy around his waist. Guy gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Agyekum drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Guy gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Agyekum tries to break free but Guy pushes him back against the cage.
Agyekum misses with a hook to the ribs.
Guy fails to pull guard.

Guy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Agyekum shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Agyekum would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Guy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Agyekum on the ground.

Agyekum drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Agyekum stays in close to Guy's body and controls the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Agyekum forces his way into half guard.

Agyekum wants to stand up but Guy has a hold of him and won't allow it.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Guy tries to control the position but Agyekum now has his back.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Guy is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Agyekum can do to turn this around?
