The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kong tries to close the distance and clinch up but Flannigan swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Flannigan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Flannigan is looking for the big counter here.
Kong shoots in but no luck this time.
Kong dodges the punch combination from Flannigan.
Kong pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Flannigan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kong moves to clinch but Flannigan breaks away
and Flannigan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kong tries for a takedown but Flannigan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Flannigan counters with a left to the body.

and Flannigan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Flannigan counters with a crisp one two that drops Kong! Flannigan thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Kong to his feet! Kong is in big trouble!

Kong tries for a takedown but Flannigan circles away easily
and Flannigan rattles Kong with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Kong tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Flannigan dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Kong stiff and motionless on the mat!
