Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hunter Akbar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Ignacio Cresta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Akbar comes into the arena with New Slaves blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Cresta's choice of entrance music: The black keys - I got mine. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cresta throws a right and a left that Akbar avoids nicely.
Akbar bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Cresta throws a series of punches but Akbar moves out of range.
Cresta throws an overhand right that lands on Akbar's shoulder, as Akbar tries to avoid the shot.
Akbar takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Nice cross by Cresta.
Cresta misses with a looping left.
Akbar tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Cresta defends well and Akbar ends up having to push Cresta into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Cresta swats away the attempt to clinch by Akbar.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cresta lands with a straight right. Akbar didn't see that one coming.
Cresta misses with a wild combination.

Akbar fails with an attempt to clinch.
As Akbar backs off Cresta throws a huge counter combo but Akbar manages to avoid it all.
Cresta throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Akbar on the side of the head.
Cresta throws the left hand but Akbar avoids the punch easily.
Cresta misses with a two punch combination.
Akbar is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cresta sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Cresta displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Akbar.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hunter Akbar. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Cresta counters with a nice uppercut.

Cresta jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Akbar takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Cresta drops Akbar with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Akbar looks back up at him and smiles so Cresta waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Akbar is rocked!

It looks like Hunter Akbar has been cut.
