Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jonatan Jose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brabo Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jonatan Jose!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brabo Garcia!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jose will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Garcia fakes the leg kick and cracks Jose in the body.
Garcia lands with a nice body punch.
Jose misses with a takedown attempt - Garcia sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jose has been working on his balance at Body Pain_12elite_599$+VM, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Garcia.
Jose shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Garcia but Garcia pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jonatan Jose. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Garcia with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Garcia.
Garcia throws a wild body kick that Jose sees coming a mile off.
As Garcia tries to get set, Jose tries to push him back and clinch up but Garcia manages to avoid the attempt.
Jose throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Garcia's waist but Garcia gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jose off to one side.
Garcia feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Joses jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Garcia fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Garcia tries a head kick but it misses.

Jose gets the takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jose working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Garcia wants to control but Jose postures up.

Jose is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Garcia gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Jose seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Garcia does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Jose trying to control the action but Garcia is working from the bottom.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Garcia is looking to control Jose's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Garcia avoid being mounted?
Jose seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Garcia does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Jose is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Garcia doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jose.

Garcia is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jose pulls his head out easily.

Jose tries to pass the half guard into mount. Garcia knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Garcia is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Garcia is trying to maintain the position but Jose is very close to passing his half guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Garcia tries a head kick but it misses.

Jose closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Garcia is not content to let Jose control the position.
Garcia is looking to reverse the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Garcia is looking for a sweep.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Garcia can't do much from the bottom here.
Jose trying to control the position but Garcia is working away.

A close round but Brabo Garcia will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Jose is keen to just control but Garcia is a slippery customer.

Jose is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Garcia has managed to free his arm - good work.
Jose content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Garcia moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Jose controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Garcia controls Jose momentarily but Jose frees himself.

Garcia is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jose got a little sloppy there for a moment and Garcia has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jose has managed to get both his arms back between Garcia's legs - danger averted.

Garcia had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jose defends it easily.
Jose slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Garcia is letting Jose control him for a moment.

Jose wants to control but Garcia is keeping him busy.
Garcia is being controlled here.

Jose thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Garcia tries to bench press Jose off him but Jose keeps the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Jose is looking to take a break and control but Garcia is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Jose shoots in but no luck this time.
Garcia lands a jab-cross combination.
Garcia has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Jose is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Jose manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Garcia on his heels. He'll look to pass Garcia's guard now, I'm sure.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jonatan Jose will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Garcia lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Jose shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Garcia sprawls well. Garcia wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jose gets slowly back to his feet.

Jose shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Garcia manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Jose is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Garcia has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Jose is looking to defend but Garcia has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Jose! Garcia pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Jose taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Brabo Garcia!
