Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between joachim dondee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timo Tamppooni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tamppooni has chosen Revelations as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

dondee had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Tamppooni is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. dondee Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Tamppooni's back instead.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
dondee manages to reverse the position and now he's in Tamppooni's guard. Nice work there by dondee.
dondee postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

dondee feints and as Tamppooni raises his hands in defense, dondee changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
