Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Coy Parsons!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ed Small!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jorge Garcia and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Small shoots in for a takedown but Parsons shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Parsons slaps away a takedown attempt from Small, before circling back to the center of the mat.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Parsons looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Small tries to roll over but Parsons keeps him under control.

Parsons wants to take a breather but Small is having none of it.
Parsons is really struggling to control Small but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Parsons is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Small defends it well.

Parsons is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Small doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Parsons.
Small is looking for a sweep. Parsons is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Parsons is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Small has managed to free his arm - good work.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Parsons gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

It looked like Parsons was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Small swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Ed Small has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Coy Parsons is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Parsons stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
