Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Domenic Calderon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renton Skinhead (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Renton Skinhead will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calderon walks into a straight right hand from Skinhead.
Skinhead tries to clinch but Calderon moves out of range.
Calderon could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Skinhead gets caught flat footed, as Calderon shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Calderon avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Skinhead is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Skinhead working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Calderon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Calderon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Calderon lands a nice short elbow.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Calderon connects with a nice short shot to Skinhead's temple.

Skinhead has hold of Calderon's hands but Calderon slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Skinhead is looking to get back to full guard here but Calderon has managed to pass to side control instead.
Skinhead is trying to control Calderon's posture but Calderon avoids it.
Calderon scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Skinhead to see if he's OK.
Skinhead tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Calderon presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Calderon fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Calderon postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Skinhead looks a forlorn figure.
