PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nick Force (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay El Pee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jay El Pee told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
El Pee stuffs the takedown attempt from Force. Force gets slowly back to his feet.
El Pee swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Force throws a low kick, looking for El Pee's leg but El Pee calmly moves out of range.
El Pee stuffs the takedown.
El Pee connects with a right hand. Force shakes it off.
Force fails with a takedown attempt.
El Pee throws out a counter right but Force avoids it with no problem.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Force. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Force.
Force fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Force misses with a head kick.
El Pee moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
El Pee works the jab nicely.
Force doesn't succeed with the takedown
and El Pee counters with a left to the body.
El Pee digs a good hook to Force's body.
Force wants to clinch.
El Pee fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
El Pee is trying to break the clinch but Force has him pressed against the cage.
El Pee scores with a nice hook to the head.
Force is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Still in the clinch, El Pee scores with a nice short uppercut.
El Pee throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Forces head.

Force is rocked!
Force is trying to work for a single leg takedown but El Pee pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Force is breathing heavily.
A right hand to the body from El Pee.

El Pee has had enough of the clinch but Force keeps him there for the moment.
El Pee lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Force backwards.
Force tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. El Pee smiles and moves away.
Nice shot lands for El Pee.
Oh Force is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Force gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! El Pee points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Force wakes up just in time to hear El Pee thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
