Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mario Rodriguez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Victarion Greyjoy!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Daniel Cesar and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rodriguez throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Greyjoy tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rodriguez is in Greyjoy's guard.
Rodriguez has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Rodriguez closes the distance and clinches up with Greyjoy, looking for a takedown. Rodriguez pushes Greyjoy against the cage but Greyjoy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Greyjoy throws a big counter head kick but Rodriguez avoids it with no problem.
We've been informed that Greyjoy has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
