Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Clint Barton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Randy Clapper!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Lou da Vinci and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clapper tries to bum rush Barton with a series of wild strikes but Barton uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Clapper fails to land with a series of punches.
Barton appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Clapper throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Clapper throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Clapper fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Barton manages to avoid it.
Clapper needs to keep his hands up - Barton had a free shot at his head there.
Barton slips a jab and a cross from Clapper.
Clapper swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Barton fails with a takedown attempt.

Clapper gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Barton seems to be working for a kimura but Clapper defends the submission attempt.

Barton is looking to advance position but Clapper won't allow it.
Clapper has hold of Barton's hands but Barton slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Barton prevents Clapper from standing back up.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Clapper can do anything to dispel that myth.
Barton throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Clapper blocking the ground and pound attempt from Barton.
Clapper really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Barton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Barton throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Barton is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Clapper is just riding it out for now. Barton eventually gives up the hold.

Barton is working for a kimura but Clapper is defending it quite comfortably.

Barton throws a strike but Clapper avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Clapper pulls Barton in to control the position.
Barton postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Our spies down at at Bad Pluto! (18 Elite Coach) inform us that Clapper has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Barton accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Barton has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Barton works his way into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Clint Barton dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Clapper lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Barton looking to score a takedown here. Clapper is defending well but Barton drives through and ends up in Clapper's guard.

Barton is working Clapper over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Barton tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Clapper is working to avoid the ground and pound but Barton connects with a decent elbow.

Barton is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Clapper is trying to escape and Barton transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Clapper is forced to tap! Nice work there by Barton! Very nice indeed!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Clint Barton!
Clint Barton decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
