The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGrath avoids the head kick by Elliot Bue.
And McGrath tries to counter it with a takedown but Elliot Bue pushes his down on his head and steps out.
McGrath has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Elliot Bue is landing a low percentage of strikes.

so McGrath counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Elliot Bue can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as McGrath controls the pace.

McGrath drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. McGrath seems to have locked his on tight now - Elliot Bue screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for McGrath, as he picks up the win!
