The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop throws out a loose jab but Lemieux uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lemieux lunges at Bishop with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bishop's hand.
Lemieux on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Lemieux connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bishop momentarily.
Bishop ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lemieux moves away.
Lemieux drops down looking for a counter takedown but Bishop sprawls and moves away.
Bishop throws a body punch but Lemieux moves out of range.
Bishop doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Bishop lands with a kick to the ribs.
Bishop misses with an uppercut. Lemieux saw that one coming.
Bishop checks a leg kick nicely.
Lemieux swings for the body but Bishop moves out of range.

Bishop gets caught napping as Lemieux dives in and scores a takedown. Bishop manages to retain guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
