Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ravil Ahmedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kendrick King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ahmedov is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahmedov misses with a looping right.
Ahmedov is breathing heavily.
Ahmedov misses with an uppercut.
And King tries to counter it with a takedown but Ahmedov pushes his down on his head and steps out.

King looking to score a takedown here. Ahmedov is defending well but King drives through and ends up in Ahmedov's guard.
King trying to control but Ahmedov is working from the bottom.
King missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
King wants to control from the top but Ahmedov keeps moving.

King thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
King pushes down on Ahmedov's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Ahmedov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for King on the ground.

King thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
King throws an elbow but Ahmedov slips to the side and avoids it well.

King working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
