Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ben Anders!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marv Roberts!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts shoots in for a takedown but Anders shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Roberts fails with the takedown.

Ben Anders has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marv Roberts.
No luck for Roberts with that takedown attempt.
As Roberts looks to move away, Anders throws a big counter combo bu Roberts just gets out of the way.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Anders defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Roberts.
Anders feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Roberts shoots for a double leg takedown but Anders sprawls well. He's pushed Roberts's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Anders lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Roberts fails with the takedown.

Anders connects with a solid leg kick.
Anders throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Roberts tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Roberts fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Roberts changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Anders tries to avoid it but Roberts manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Anders to the ground. Anders escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Anders looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Anders changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Roberts looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Anders advances to full mount.

Anders is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Roberts is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Roberts flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Anders anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Roberts and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Anders slips an arm under Roberts chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Anders has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Anders is squeezing on Roberts like an anaconda would it's prey. Roberts fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
