Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dado Mata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Girder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mata comes to the cage accompanied by Stranglehold. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Girder bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Mata lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Girder circles away quickly and effectively.
Girder is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Girder steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mata.
Mata looks to land a right hand but Girder moved out of range.
Mata loads up on a big right hand but Girder slips the punch.
Mata keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Dado Mata seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mata lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Mata.
Girder on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Some wild striking there from Mata.
Mata loads up on a big right hand but Girder slips the punch.
Girder tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Mata ducks under a wild hook from Girder.
Mata scores with a hook.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A telegraphed right hand from Mata misses the target.
Mata looks to throw the jab but Girder is out of range.
Mata throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mata takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Mata feints a jab promting Girder to slip. Mata then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Girder slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
A nice combination there by Mata.
Mata misses with a looping left.
Girder with the counter takedown but Mata avoids it easily.
Mata throws a big shot that misses.
Girder looks to score with a jab to the body but Mata is just out of range.
Mata throws an overhand right that lands on Girder's shoulder, as Girder tries to avoid the shot.
Mata throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Girder counters with a shoot takedown. Mata fights it but they end up in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Girder tries to free his leg and advance position but Mata is retaining full guard.
Girder wants to stand but Mata is controlling his posture from full guard.
Girder has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Mata to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Girder is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Mata pulls down on the head and he's put Girder to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Dado Mata!
An out of breath Dado Mata thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
