Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marian Pazidzioch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rafael Pott!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, David Schapiro and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pazidzioch takes one on the button.
Pott lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Pott has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Pazidzioch walks into a straight right hand from Pott.
Pazidzioch closes the distance looking to clinch
and Pott counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Pott throws a one two combo.

Pazidzioch clinches up against the ropes.

Pazidzioch has clasped his hands together around Pott's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Pazidzioch lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Pott is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Pazidzioch working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Pazidzioch takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Pott is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Pazidzioch scores with a couple of nice shots.

Pott slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Pazidzioch postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pott is on top in guard.

Pazidzioch on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pazidzioch tries to get out of the position.

Pott passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Pott tries for a kimura but Pazidzioch is defending well.

Pott is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pazidzioch is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Pott is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Pazidzioch knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Pott swings around for an armbar but Pazidzioch sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Pott's guard.
Pazidzioch postures up and lands a big shot to Pott's brow.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Pott looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pazidzioch is one step ahead there.

Pott working for a triangle but Pazidzioch defends it easily.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Pazidzioch's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Pazidzioch is in close to Pott's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Pott is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Pazidzioch knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pott on the ground.
Pazidzioch stands up over Pott, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Pott wants to sweep but no luck.
Pazidzioch has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Pazidzioch distracts Pott with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Pott is rocked!
Pott is a very stocky fighter. Infact he's such a weird shape that he's almost like some sort of comedy character - it's hard to believe he's real.

Pott is still in real trouble! Can Pazidzioch finish him?
Pazidzioch scoring with punches to the head and body.
Pazidzioch gets to his feet and stands over Pott, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Pott felt that one! Pazidzioch unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Pott from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marian Pazidzioch!
Marian Pazidzioch very nearly forgot to thank Farm of Muscle amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
