The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniel gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Schneider moves into the clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Schneider putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Daniel in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Daniel creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Schneider lands with a left to the head.
Schneider lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Bryce Daniel has been cut.
Schneider lands an elbow inside that Daniel shrugs off.
Schneider creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Daniel's defenses.
Daniel could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Schneider gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.


Daniel is rocked!
Schneider throws an elbow that misses.
Oh Daniel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Daniel blocks the elbow strike.

Schneider has a couple of punches blocked by Daniel.
Schneider throws an elbow but it misses.
With the fighters up against the cage, Schneider throws an elbow but misses.
Schneider pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Schneider lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Schneider unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Daniel! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Schneider is unloading with more strikes now! Daniel drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bob Schneider!
Bob Schneider decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
