PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damjan Bartol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Lamb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bartol comes into the arena with Big Pun- Leatherface blaring out of the sound system. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamb stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lamb wants it to stay on the feet.
Lamb feints the counter takedown.

Bartol gets tackled into the cage by Lamb. Lamb maintains the clinch.
Bartol gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Lamb.
Lamb managing to block the knees to the body from Bartol.

Bartol breaks the clinch.

Lamb darts in and clinches Bartol up against the cage.
Lamb is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bartol gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Bartol is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Lamb is defending well for now.
Lamb managing to block the knees to the body from Bartol.
Bartol misses with a knee strike.
Lamb's coach down at Lightning was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Lamb's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Bartol stalling in the clinch but Lamb improves position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lamb has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Bartol clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Lamb lands a shot to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bartol just trying to survive but Lamb is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Lamb is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Bartol up.

Bartol covers up after that shot from Lamb.

Lamb is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Bartol is defending well though. Lamb let's go of the attempt for now.
The referee is taking a good look at Bartol as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Lamb!
Lamb controls the action.
Lamb is landing big shots and Bartol is squirming looking to escape! He can't escape though and the ref jumps in to end the fight!
