Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Monsun Moon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Luigi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moon drives through with a takedown into Luigi's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Moon stands and throws Luigi's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Luigi tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Luigi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Luigi is bucking up trying to escape but Moon cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Luigi tries to hold on but Moon postures up.
Moon postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Luigi looks a forlorn figure.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Luigi wants to hold on but Moon pushes him away.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Luigi can do anything to dispel that myth.
Luigi is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Luigi is squirming around, avoiding Moon's attempts to control the action.

Moon is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Luigi is surviving well by controlling Moon's body position as best he can.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
BOOM! Moon connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Moon working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Moon is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Luigi can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Moon looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Moon cracks Luigi with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Moon postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Luigi in real trouble here! The ref calls for Luigi to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Monsun Moon!
A relieved looking Monsun Moon thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
