Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arjun Batar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Genesis Piper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Piper has chosen Ride Out-Kid Ink, Tyga as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Arjun Batar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Genesis Piper!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batar gets a double leg takedown into Piper's guard.
Piper manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Batar manages to get himself to full guard.
Batar is trying to keep Piper in close.
Piper gets to his feet. Batar looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Piper throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Batar tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Piper is in Batar's guard.
Piper stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Batar swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Batar looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Piper slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Batar tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Piper wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Piper tries for a kimura but Batar is defending well.

Batar defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Piper.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Batar tries to hold on but Piper postures up.
Piper wants to take Batar's back here but Batar is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Batar is squirming around, avoiding Piper's attempts to control the action.
Piper lands a nice shot to the head.
It looks like Arjun Batar has been cut.

Piper moves to the back position.
Piper working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Batar is doing well to defend. Piper seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Batar is forced to tap and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Genesis Piper!
