Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Skap Hazard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Nickoson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nickoson looks to score with a jab to the body but Hazard is just out of range.

Nickoson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hazard's waist but Hazard gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nickoson off to one side.
Nickoson throws a right hand that Hazard ducks under and follows up with a left that Hazard also avoids with ease.
Hazard went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Nickoson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hazard swivels and escapes.

Skap Hazard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bryan Nickoson.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Nickoson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hazard has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hazard and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Hazard lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hazard.

Nickoson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hazard circles away quickly and effectively.

Bryan Nickoson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nickoson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hazard.

Hazard takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

and Hazard counters with a crisp one two that drops Nickoson! Hazard thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Nickoson to his feet! Nickoson is in big trouble!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Skap Hazard will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

A relieved looking Skap Hazard thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
