And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Russell Pearce and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meadows scores with a nice right hand.
Zander fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Meadows stuffs the takedown attempt from Zander. Zander gets slowly back to his feet.
Some wild striking there from Meadows.
Meadows throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Meadows tries a low kick but Zander avoids it.
Zander uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Meadows.
Zander shoots for a double leg takedown but Meadows sprawls well. He's pushed Zander's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Edwin Meadows has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Zander.
Meadows throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Zander.
Zander pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Zander looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Zander slips a jab and a cross from Meadows.
No luck for Zander with that takedown attempt.
Donk. Meadows catches Zander right on the button with a cross.

Meadows throws a right hand that Zander ducks under and follows up with a left that Zander also avoids with ease.
Meadows swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Meadows connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Zander! He's out on his feet! Meadows rushes in and drops Zander with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
